"Whiskey by the Fire" is an atmosphere where my soul will always seek refuge, where a light imbibing meets the coziness of a warm flame. Thus the name of this site where I publicly share one of my longtime loves: writing. I enjoy narratives, poetry, and essays. The same genres fill my library at home, but I also enjoy reading true crime, non-fiction, and anything that will get me laughing.
